If you and your date are trying to do your best David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson impressions, try going to Will Rogers State Beach, the place where the original "Baywatch" was filmed. Will Rogers State Beach is a nearly two-mile-long beach located just north of Santa Monica in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Pacific Palisades. With ample sand space, you and your partner will have no trouble finding a place to sit down and "get your tan on." If you and your partner are looking to play a game of volleyball, you can do it at one of the beach's many volleyball courts. If each of you has a bike, there is a bike path along the eastern edge of the beach. Activities such as swimming, surfing, and fishing are also allowed here.

If you are really looking to impress your date, try taking him to a Lakers game at the Staples Center in Downtown Los Angeles. This team is consistently the NBA's best, pioneered by basketball greats including Wilt Chamberlain, Jerry West, Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Shaquille O'Neal, and Kobe Bryant. Nothing says more class in Los Angeles than a Lakers game. Not only will you see some of the greatest NBA-players in the game, but you will more than likely see a few celebrities.
