Festivals in Keystone, Colorado

Keystone, Colorado, offers four months of festivals in the summer, and intermittent festivals throughout the winter. Located against the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains, Keystone, Colorado, attracts most of its visitors in the winter months due to its popular ski resorts. While the ski slopes still attract the majority of visitors in the winter, holiday and winter festivals attract sightseers at night with food, ice sculpture, live music and children's activities. In the summer, however, music, art and cultural festivals offer visitors the opportunity to experience 18 different countries' cultures, local beers, a variety of music and world cuisine.

  1. The World Music Festival

    • The World Music Festival offers music from 18 countries.

      The World Music Festival, at the River Run in Keystone in June, gives its visitors the chance to experience not only music from around the world, but a variety of cuisine, arts and crafts, vendors and activities for adults and kids. Children's activities include inflatable bouncy houses, crafts, and a mini golf range. Music, live dancers and the vendor showcase offer visitors a glimpse into 18 different countries' cultures. A beer garden offers adults the chance to sample brews from all over the world. Finally, a free fireworks display ends the day and offers entertainment for both adults and children.

    The Bluegrass and Beer Festival

    • The Bluegrass and Beer Festival offers more than 25 local beers.

      The Bluegrass and Beer Festival runs from the end of July through the beginning of August at the River Run in Keystone. In addition to live bluegrass music on three stages, the beer garden offers a choice of more than 25 local Colorado beers. During designated hours, vendors offer unlimited beer samples. Food vendors offer Appalachian-style cooking. Children's activities and live entertainment also are offered.

    Festa Italiana

    • Festa Italiana offers an Italian wine bar.

      Festa Italiana celebrates Italy in the month of September at the River Run in Keystone. Italian festival food is offered in the marketplace, and a wine bar offers tastes of Italian wines. The festival also highlights Italian authors and keynote speakers. Children's activities are offered as well as live entertainment.

    The Annual Blues Festival and Art Show

    • The Annual Blues Festival showcases blues music.

      The Annual Blues Festival and Art Show runs through the end of August at the River Run in Keystone. In addition to the art and music featured, the festival offers a food plaza and free children's activities. The Blue River Century bike race, which benefits the Lance Armstrong foundation, sets the setting for this festival and attracts intermediate to advanced riders.
