    • The Gleason Hotel, which is 17.4 miles and a 26-minute drive northeast of Jamestown, is Chautauqua's only lakeside hotel. This hotel was originally built in 1886 and purchased for $1,950. The Miller Belltower and Bestor Plaza are both a just short walk away from the Gleason Hotel. In addition to the four porches that all have wicker furnishings, there is a community kitchen that all guests have access to. Accommodations are categorized as either a single, double, adjoining room or efficiency apartment units. The entire hotel, from the lobby to the guest rooms, has antique-style furnishings and decorations.
