Why are there no seas in the US?

This is not accurate, the United States does have seas. For example, the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea are both seas that border the United States. Other seas that are near the United States include the Bering Sea, Chukchi Sea, Beaufort Sea, and the East China Sea.
