Visit the website of the airline with which you will be flying.
Look for a section that says "flight status" or something similar. This may be a box on the main screen, a tab or a link.
Fill in the required information for the flight. This will probably include the date of departure and either the departure and arrival cities or the flight number.
Submit the information. The website should display any available information about your flight, including whether it is on time, delayed or canceled.
Call the airline's main contact number. This should be available in your confirmation email (if you have one) or on the airline's website.
Press the button corresponding to an option such as "flight status" or "check my flight."
Enter the requested information using your phone's keypad or by speaking into the phone, as prompted. This will probably include the date of departure and either the departure and arrival cities or the flight number.
Listen to the information that the phone system provides regarding your flight.
Find one of the flight departure screens. Depending on the size of the airport and the airline you are flying with, these screens might display departure information for all the flights leaving the airport or the terminal (in which case the screens will probably be displayed prominently throughout the airport) or only the departure information for your specific airline (in which case the screens will probably be located near the check-in desks for that airline).
Find your flight on the list displayed on the screen. If you are having difficulty finding it, check that you are looking at the departures screen instead of the arrivals screen; they are often placed side-by-side and might not be clearly marked.
Read the information displayed for your flight. This will probably include the terminal and gate information, as well as updates on whether the plane is on time, delayed or canceled.
