Finding a direct flight from the United States to Mexico is not difficult, especially with a number of domestic and Mexico-based airlines flying back and forth between the two countries daily. Most direct flights land in Mexico City, but you can find airlines that fly you to resort destinations such as Cancun, Acapulco and Puerto Vallarta.
