Covering a large geographical area, Zambian Airways offers many domestic and international flights to please their customers. Charter flights are also available for those hard-to-reach places. Several smaller companies have merged over the last few years with Zambian Airways to expand and increase their range of service.
Go to the Zambian Airways Web site (see "Resources) and book your travel reservation. If the Web page does not list flights on your desired dates, select new ones.
Prepare a back-up plan for booking. You may also submit a reservation online via a form under "Contact Us." Or, you may telephone the airline directly at 011 (+2601) 257655. All country codes are within parentheses and begin with a "+" sign. All phone numbers include the United States international prefix "011." When calling internationally from outside the United States, substitute "011" with "00."
Don't worry. If you can't book reservations instantly online, contact Zambian Airways via email at [email protected].
Read the fine print. Cancellations and reservation changes have special rules. Most are non-transferrable and non-refundable. Know what you are agreeing to when you book a ticket on Zambian Airways.
Know your baggage limits. Weight limits vary at each airport. If you are passing through more than one airport, note the restrictions to avoid fees and hassles ahead of time.
Zambian Airways services 7 large airports in Zambia including Chipata, Livingstone, Lower Zambezi, Lusaka, Mfuwe, Ndola and Solwezi. Pick the location that suits you best.
Book travel on Zambian Airways to fly to the capital of Tanzania, Dar es Salaam, the capital of Zimbabwe, Harare, and one of the capitals of South Africa, Johannesburg.
Be unique. If the standard eight destinations don't suit you, check the charter listings. Their four charter planes can get you almost anywhere in Africa.
