SGA Airlines is a commercial airline based out out of Bangkok. Best known for providing 4 flights per day to and from Bangkok and Hua Hin (referred to as the Hua Hin Shuttle), SGA Airlines is now focused on making their hub Ching Mai Airport. Follow these steps to book your flight with SGA.
Book your flight using a Visa or MasterCard at the SGA Web site (see Resources below). The site's easy-to-navigate format makes this the fastest and easiest choice for booking.
Contact the Booking Call Center at 011 (+66) (0)21 34 3233 4 to book reservations. They will help you schedule your ticket and guide you through the payment options available. Typically, you will be given a code and sent to a payment center to complete the transaction.
Go to the airport and purchase your SGA Airlines ticket with cash. A ticket agent will be available to help you at Bangkok International as well as their other destination locations.
Use the assistance of a concierge or travel agent to avoid communication confusion. You may pay a booking fee for using an agent, however.
Understand the baggage requirements. Your luggage can weigh up to 44 lbs. and can only be checked with the proper booking number and proof of passport.
Expect a paperless ticket. SGA Airlines relies on e-tickets. It's mandatory that you have your ticket reservation information when you arrive at the airport.
Check in on time. Bangkok International Airport requires you to be checked in 45 minutes before your departing flight. The Hua Hin Shuttle requires check-in 30 minutes before departure.
Fly through Chiang Mai. With new service to Chiang Rai, Pai and Phrae, the airline's flights out of Chiang Mai are offered at a flat, easy-to-understand rate.
Be prepared for a tiny plane. The Hua Hin Shuttle is a Cessna 208 B Caravan, a 12-seat, 3 propeller aircraft. You may need to bring motion sickness tablets.
