Thai AirAsia is a small company owned by the larger AirAsia and Asia Aviation. Thai AirAsia's function is to offer domestic and international travel in and out of Thailand at affordable prices. This money-saving airfare offers reasonable fares and consistent service to 17 different destinations. Follow these steps to book your trip.
Book your travel online through the Web site of the airline's parent company, Air Asia (see Resources below). Follow the simple booking instructions to find a flight through Bangkok. Book your ticket using a major credit card.
Contact Guest Support if you need assistance booking your ticket at 011 (+60) 3 86 60 43 43.
Purchase your tickets with cash at the ticket window at Suvarnabhumi Airport, also known as New Bangkok International Airport. Buy your tickets before your departure date to guarantee a seat on the plane.
Book your ticket only when you are certain your travel plans are firm. Typically, flights booked on Thai AirAsia are non-refundable once paid in full. However, you can change your ticket for a fee if the change is made more than 2 days before the scheduled departure.
Arrive at the airport with enough time to check in. Check-in closes 45 minutes prior to the scheduled departure of your flight. Be sure you give yourself enough time to park, get through security and navigate your way through Suvarnabhumi Airport.
Have all necessary paperwork on hand. Foreign travelers will need a passport, visa and proof of health care precautions (health insurance or evacuation insurance). Thai citizens are required to carry their identity cards as well as a certain amount of cash or credit.
Fly within Thailand. Domestic destinations available with Bangkok as a departure city include Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Hat Yai, Krabi, Narathiwat, Phuket, Surat Thani, Ubon Ratchathani and Udon Thani.
Pick an international destination. Thai AirAsia offers international service to Hanoi, Macau, Xiamen, Phnom Penh, Yangon, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu, Penang and Langwaki.
Check to make sure you have the most up-to-date information as you plan your trip. Thai AirAsia closed their routes to Johor Bahru, Khon Kaen, Nakhon Ratchasima and Phitsanulok.
