How to Book Travel on Eurowings

Eurowings is a German airline that is affiliated with Lufthansa. It is based at Dortmund Airport and also has hubs in Munich and Frankfurt. The airline offers flights to destinations within and beyond Germany.

      Note that although Eurowings has its own Web site, tickets for flights other than charter flights will be booked through Lufthansa. Visit the Lufthansa Web site to book your tickets (see Resources below). From the U.S., you may also call Lufthansa for reservations at 011 (+49) 0231 92 45 0.

      Click on "English" in the top center of the Lufthansa homepage in order to read the Web site in English.

      Look for the gray rectangle on the left side of the screen. Input all of the requested information about travel dates and destinations.

      Choose the criteria for the search by selecting "Price +/- 3 days" or indicating that the search must seek specific travel dates depending on whether or not you have flexible travel dates.

      Use the pull-down menus to select the number of adults older than 12, children between the ages of 2 and 11 and infants up to the age of 2 who will be traveling. Choose a class preference. When all of the required information has been entered, click on "Search" to continue the booking process.

      Select from the available times for your departure flight and return flight. Fares will be visible so that you can see how much each option will cost.

      Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the booking process, including entering your payment information. Charges to your credit card will be made at this time. Click the final button to submit payment and confirm the details of your flight.
