Most flights from this location serve the Midwest -- Allegiant Air the only airline that travels as far west as Los Angeles in 2010. Texarkana Regional Airport (TXK), which is on the Arkansas side of the Texas/Arkansas border, is only served by American Eagle Airlines. It is also used for helicopter flights and has an aviation school. The commercial flight schedule is designed as a low-cost convenience for travelers in the area. The airport is off of Highway 245 in Texarkana.
