Airports in Madison, Wisconsin

Madison is the state capital of Wisconsin and is located in the southern portion of the state. It is home to the University of Wisconsin and boasted a population of 208,000 in 2010. It is located approximately 80 miles west of Milwaukee. There are many different opportunities for outdoor pursuits, as well as cultural activities at the museums and galleries. To service the capital and the surrounding areas, there is one primary airport, Dane County Regional Airport. Further afield is Middleton Municipal Airport.
  1. Dane County Regional Airport General Information

    • Dane County Regional Airport is the main commercial airport servicing Madison. It is located six miles northeast of the city center, and is accessible by car and bus. There is only one terminal, as it is a regional airport.

    Services

    • A wide variety of services are available. ATMs are available throughout the terminal, as well as a variety of restaurants, gift shops and newspaper stands. Several parking options are offered as well. A golf course also is located on the airport's property and is open to the general public.

    Destinations

    • As of 2010, a number of domestic destinations are available. The main hubs that the airport flies to are New York, Washington DC, Minneapolis, Chicago, Memphis, Dallas and Denver.
