Do dolphins and submarines go up the Amazon river?

Dolphins do live in some parts of the Amazon river, like the Guiana dolphin and the Amazon river dolphin, but submarines cannot go up the river. The Amazon River is not deep enough for submarines, and it has a lot of obstacles like sandbars and fallen trees. Also, the water in the Amazon is too murky for submarines to see clearly.
