Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicle fueling infrastructure does not exist in Mexico. You cannot fill a 5-gallon CNG stove tank (or vehicle tank) in La Paz or anywhere else in the country.

⛽ What's Available

• LPG (Propane/Butane): Universal. "Gas LP" cylinders (20, 30, 40 kg) for stoves, heaters, some vehicles (converted).
• Gasoline/Diesel: Pemex stations everywhere.
• Electric: Growing EV charging (CFE, private).

🚫 Why No CNG?

• No distribution network.
• No vehicle market (unlike Argentina, Brazil, Iran, Pakistan).
• Pemex monopoly on hydrocarbons; no CNG strategy.
