Chapultepec Park, formally known as Bosque de Chapultepec, is one of the largest city parks in the Western Hemisphere. It is approximately 1,700 acres (686 hectares) in size. For comparison, Central Park in New York City is 843 acres, while Stanley Park in Vancouver, Canada is 1,001 acres.
