    • Memphis River Boats offers several types of cruises including sightseeing tours and cruises for special occasions such as Valentine's Day. While the Island Queen, the Memphis Queen II and the Memphis Queen III ply the waters of the Mississippi River, the Memphis Showboat is a permanent fixture offered for group events. The regular river tours provide a historian/storyteller along with a cash and credit bar and munchies. Storytelling guides, a house band, a house DJ and many other services are offered for special event charters. In early 2010, the cost of a standard dinner cruise was $45 for adults from 18 to 59; $42 for seniors over 60, college students, military and children from 13 to 17 was $42; and children between the ages of 6 and 12 was $30.

    Gateway Arch Riverfront Riverboats

    • Throughout the year Gateway Arch Riverfront presents cruises on its two paddle steamboats, the Tom Sawyer and the Becky Thatcher. In addition to the regular sightseeing tours, Gateway Arch Riverfront offers special event cruises, such as the Girlfriends Shopping Cruise in the spring, a Fourth of July Fireworks Cruise, Octoberfest Cruises and a New Year's Eve Cruise. Skyline Dinner Cruises, One-hour Cruises and Sunday Brunch Cruises are offered most of the year, as well as other enjoyable cruises on the Mississippi River. In early 2010, a standard Skyline Dinner Cruise was $42 for adults, $20 for children up to 12, and children under 3 were free.

    LaCrosse Queen Cruises

    • The LaCrosse Queen of Wisconsin carries sightseers on a tour upstream on the Mississippi, providing a guide who informs about the river, its history and that of the surrounding areas. The LaCrosse Queen also offers a brunch special for Sunday mornings, as well as Friday, Saturday and Sunday night dinner cruises. Its Moonlight Cruise and special private charters are also popular. The LaCross Queen welcomes wedding parties and other group events, and supplies full meals, cocktails and/or snacks depending on the cruise. In early 2010, the cost of a Saturday dinner cruise was $41.95 for adults ages 12 through 59, $21.95 for children 2 through 11, and seniors were $39.95.
