    • Hudson Highland Cruises offers a unique historic riverboat ride aboard the 1917 M/V Commander, which actually served in the U.S. Navy in World War I. The cruise takes passengers from the Hudson Highlands to West Haverstraw, West Point and Peekskill. The riverboat is available for private charters for weddings, anniversaries and birthday parties and is fully equipped for simple to gourmet type dinners. The upper deck is partially covered for both shaded areas and sun area, and the lower deck is enclosed and seats up to 100 guests with chairs, tables, benches and an area for dancing. Cruises range from three to six hours, depending if the vessel makes stops.
