Where is the drop off in endless ocean?

There is no "drop off" in Endless Ocean. The game takes place in a vast, open ocean environment that you can explore freely, and you can not leave the ocean area as the map has not been expanded to infinity nor the edges have been made to abruptly end into a virtual "drop off".
