How to Take the FlyAway Bus to LAX

To alleviate traffic to Los Angeles International Airport, or LAX, a bus line called FlyAway transports travelers from three locations in the city to and from the airport for a $4 cash one-way fare (as of 2008) that rivals the high cost of shuttle vans and taxis. Children ages 2 to 12 are only $2. The bright blue buses are charter buses, complete with air conditioning and cushioned seats, and drivers aid passengers with luggage. The frequent drop-offs and pick-ups are more regular than most other airport transportation options, particularly the regular city bus line, and nonstop regular service can be found from locations in Westwood Village, Van Nuys and at Union Station to LAX.
