How to Track the Sapphire Princess

The Sapphire Princess is one of the cruise ships in the Princess cruise line. The ship has several different destinations along the Pacific Ocean, including Alaska, the Mexican Riviera and Hawaii. Cruise ships transmit their locations through a system called Long Range Identification and Tracking, LRIT, and are required to transmit this information regularly. Tracking receivers pick up this information and transmit this information to ship tracking websites on the Internet. If you are interested in tracking the position of the Sapphire Princess and other cruise ships, you can view the LRIT information online.
