The dinner cruise takes place on the quaint and stately paddleboat. It is a relaxing way to spend time enjoying the scenery and calm waters of the larger areas of the St. Croix River. Dinner includes prime rib of beef and potato, or roasted chicken and rice. Entries come with vegetables, bread, salad, and desert. Along the way, the cruise includes a narrated history of the area, rich with logging, Chippewa Indians, and old-west settlers.
The picnic cruise begins at 6:45 and lasts 2 hours. Enjoy a buffet style meal of chicken and pork ribs, Cole slaw, and baked beans, bread, mashed potato, and desert. Soda is included and a cash bar is available. Relax and enjoy the scenery that includes a narrated guide of The Dalles as the sun begins to set along the shoreline.
The history cruise is an excellent way to see historic sites along the river. Student trips get an extra advantage of one free pass for every 10 tickets. The history cruise does not include a meal, but box lunches are available that include a sandwich, fruit, cookie, chips, and beverage. The tour takes place on the paddlewheel boat that evokes an immediate sense of history as a common river transport of the old west. Tourists learn about the fur trade along the St. Croix River, logging, and Indian history of the area. Each tour holds up to 400 riders, and leaves at 11 a.m. daily. The history cruise lasts 2 hours.
The adventurous at heart will enjoy the wild ride down a river locally known as "the wild river." Areas of this natural river are impassable by larger boats, but have beautiful scenery and wildlife to explore for those who canoe or kayak in. Your tour will include all the supplies and gear you need to enjoy a day on the beautiful St. Croix River. The guided trips are available lasting from 2 to 6 hours.
Special events include Mother's Day brunch and dinner cruises, a special "chocolate and wine" cruise several times per season, and an "Elvis" cruise twice a year.
