Port of Galveston Cruises

Galveston, Texas, is on Galveston Island, right outside Houston in the southeastern part of the state on the Gulf of Mexico. The Port of Galveston operates a variety of cruises via two major cruise lines, Carnival and Royal Caribbean, that provide service to the eastern Mexican coast, the Western Caribbean including the Cayman Islands and Jamaica, and occasional transatlantic excursions to Barcelona, Spain.
  1. Ecstasy

    • The Carnival Ecstasy cruise ship offers guests a large number of amenities and spacious stateroom cabins. The vessel was built in 1991 and refurbished in 2006. All staterooms feature private bathing facilities, toilet, telephone, carpeted flooring and television with access to films. The Ecstasy offers guests amenities such as Internet, bars, restaurants, clubs, casino, pool and hot tub, basketballs court and child and teen centers. Carnival Ecstasy offers four- to six-day cruises along the Mexican coast with stops at Progreso, Yucatan and Cozumel, Mexico.     Conquest

    • Carnival's Conquest cruise sails from the Port of Galveston around the western Caribbean with stops at Montego Bay, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands and Cozumel, Mexico. The Conquest ship features a 12-foot by 22-foot LED screen seaside theatre, casino, spa, fitness center, mini golf course, three-deck high Twister water slide and a variety of dining and shopping options. Like the Ecstasy cruise ship, all cabins feature television with access to films, carpet, ample storage space with the option of a private deck on the above sea level staterooms.     Voyager of the Sea

    • The Voyager of the Seas is one of the world's largest cruise ships, designed to accommodate the largest possible number of amenities and luxuries for passengers. The Voyager features an ice skating rink, rock climbing wall, bars, nightclubs, Internet, theatre and enhanced cabins. The itinerary for this vessel varies, one being the same as the Carnival Conquest with stops in the Western Bahamas and Cozumel, Mexico, and others including stops in Roatan, Honduras and Costa Maya, Mexico. The Voyager of the Seas makes occasional trips to Barcelona, Spain, generally once in winter and once in spring.
