Baja, Mexico Short Cruises

Baja, Mexico is a located immediately south of California. With its dramatic coastline which sees the desert give way to the blue of the Pacific Ocean, it is a popular tourist destination. Carnival Cruises has taken advantage of this popularity and location, so close to the Southern California ports of San Diego and Los Angeles, to corner the market for three- to six-day cruises.
  1. Carnival Paradise

    • A cruise tailored for a long weekend, the Carnival Paradise leaves on Friday and is back on Monday. After an overnight sailing down the California coast, the Paradise makes port in Ensenada. While there, take a Mexican cooking class or play a round of golf at a scenic coastal golf resort.

Before returning to Los Angeles, you will have a sea day to relax. Take in a show or indulge in multiple therapies at the spa. Then at night, live the life of the high roller at the on-board casino.

    Carnival Elation

    • San Diego is the embarkation port for the Carnival Elation four-day Baja cruise. Unlike many other cruises to Baja, this cruise begins by sailing north to the American island of Catalina. Located just of the coast of Los Angeles, this island provides a stark contrast to the urban landscape. Here you can walk on the ocean floor with a SNUBA excursion, or rent a bicycle and enjoy the mostly undeveloped island which reflects what the California coast looked like before it was settled. Also available for rental are kayaks and paddle boats to explore the marina while getting some exercise. The ship then heads south to Ensenada, Mexico. After departing from Ensenada, your ship returns to San Diego.
