Bermuda Cruises From Philadelphia

Travelers looking to book a cruise to Bermuda's sandy beaches no longer have to fly all the way to Florida or deal with the crowds and traffic in New York City. One cruise line has a departure port in Philadelphia, where vacationers can tour the city's historic attractions before or after cruising.
  1. Ship to Bermuda

    • The Norwegian Majesty, a Norwegian Cruise Line ship, is the only ship to offer departures to Bermuda from Philadelphia, as of July 2009. The Majesty, which can carry 1,462 passengers, has Philadelphia-to-Bermuda itineraries in October.

    Departure Location

    • The Philadelphia Cruise Terminal is in the Philadelphia Navy Yard at Pier 1, at 5100 S. Broad St., in building 3.

    Cruise Itinerary

    • The Norwegian Majesty journeys to St. George in Bermuda, where it stays docked for three nights. Passengers will also spend two days at sea.

    Getting to the Terminal

    • The Philadelphia Cruise Terminal offers cruise passengers long-term parking for $12 per day during the length of the cruise, as of July 2009. Passengers flying into the Philadelphia International Airport can take a quick 10-minute cab ride to the terminal.

    Special Deals

    • CruisePhilly, which is part of the Delaware River Port Authority, encourages vacationers to take advantage of Freestyle Philly, a cruise-hotel package that includes discounts to the city's attractions and restaurants and a special rate at the Hyatt Regency hotel on the waterfront.
