When was Eads Bridge created?

The Eads Bridge, now officially known as the Captain James B. Eads Bridge, is a pair of twin wrought iron arch bridges over the Mississippi River in St. Louis, Missouri. Its construction began in 1867, and it was opened to traffic on July 4, 1874.
