What materials were used to build the green point stadium?

Cape Town Stadium (known for sponsorship reasons as Green Point Stadium) is a multipurpose sports stadium in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa, located on the site of the former Green Point Common. It was one of the host stadiums for the 2010 FIFA World Cup and holds 64,100 people, which makes it the largest stadium in South Africa. The stadium was designed by GMP Architekten, Meinhardt Group and Louis Karol of the US-based HOK Sport Venue Event.

During the 2010 World Cup, the stadium hosted eight matches – five group matches, one Round of 16 match, one semi-final and the third place play-off. Cape Town Stadium is also the home of Ajax Cape Town, the Cape Cobras cricket team and Stormers rugby team.
