Is folly still a folly?
The definition of "folly" has evolved slightly over time, but it still largely retains its original meaning of "foolishness or unwisdom." In the past, folly was often used in a moral or ethical sense to describe actions or decisions that were considered unwise or imprudent. Today, it is more commonly used in a humorous or light-hearted sense to describe silly or impractical things. However, the essential idea of folly as something foolish, unwise, or impractical remains the same.
