How much is the congestion charge in London?
The congestion charge in London is £15 per day for most vehicles, including cars, vans, and motorcycles. This fee applies to vehicles that are driven within the Congestion Charge Zone (CCZ), which is an area of central London bounded by the A406 North Circular Road to the north, the A205 South Circular Road to the south, the A4 West Cromwell Road to the west, and the A12 Commercial Road to the east.
The congestion charge is in effect between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm on weekdays, excluding public holidays. Vehicles that are registered for the London Congestion Charge Scheme or that are exempt from the charge can enter the CCZ without paying a fee.
