Specs for the Dometic Brisk Air

The Dometic Brisk Air is a rooftop air conditioning and heating unit made specifically for motor homes. Dometic offers three models with varying capacity levels to accommodate all sizes of motor homes.
  1. Blowers

    • The Dometic Brisk Air offers a three-speed blower, which features adjustable louvers and a washable air filter. A two-speed blower is available for motor homes with duct-work. This blower features a quick-cool panel, which forces the airflow in a downward motion.

    Controls

    • A wall-mounted thermostat controls the heating and cooling system. Equipped with zonal climate controls, the digital thermostat can heat or cool specific sections of the motor home.

    Capacity

    • The Brisk Air provides air conditioning components in three sizes. They range from 11,000 to 15,000 British thermal units (BTU). The heating element provides 5,600 BTUs of heat.

    Power

    • A 12-gauge copper wire connected to a 20-amp circuit breaker supplies power to the unit. The compressor has a load rating between 9.5 and 12.9 amps. This is dependent upon the size of the unit. The fan motor in all three models has a load rating of 2.5 amps.
