F-7BG and F-7M: Bangladesh acquired 16 F-7BG fighter jets from China in 2013, and later purchased six more F-7M aircraft in 2016.
JF-17 Thunder: In 2017, Bangladesh signed a deal with China to acquire 16 JF-17 Thunder multi-role fighter aircraft. The first batch of JF-17s were delivered to Bangladesh in 2021.
Mig-29: Bangladesh's air force also operates a squadron of Mig-29 fighter jets, which were acquired from Russia in the 1990s.
K-8W Karakorum: The K-8W Karakorum is a light combat and training aircraft used by Bangladesh's air force.
In total, Bangladesh's air force has around 25-30 fighter aircraft, including F-7BG, F-7M, JF-17 Thunder, Mig-29, and K-8W Karakorum.
