Brooklyn Bridge Access: Pedestrians and Cyclists Only

No vehicles are allowed on the Brooklyn Bridge at any time. The bridge is exclusively open to pedestrians and cyclists.

Motor vehicle traffic uses the adjacent Manhattan Bridge, Williamsburg Bridge, and tunnels (Brooklyn–Battery Tunnel, Holland Tunnel) to cross the East River.
