Travel by Train Vacations

Traveling by train is hardly an antiquated method of transportation, but a rewarding and slow-paced exploration of landscapes. Many train vacations include stops at points of interest where passengers can stretch their legs or even go fishing in a Scottish lake or explore Tarahumara Indian cave dwellings. And for those who prefer not sleeping while they move, some train vacation packages include hotel accommodations in between the day's journeying.
