The Mariazellerbahn is a narrow-gauge railway line that runs from St. Polton to Mariazell through lower Austria. While the Mariazellerbahn still operates as a primary means of transportation for many, it is a rapidly disappearing piece of history for anyone touring the country. Running through some of the most remote and picturesque mountain areas in eastern Europe, it is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience an old fashioned train ride.

The Little Red Train is actually a series of trains that travel through some of the most scenic routes in Switzerland. Featuring panoramic cars that allow incredible views, you will travel through the countryside and then descend slowly into the Poschiavo valley. For longer journeys, a gourmet restaurant car is also part of The Little Red Train as are historic cars for a more authentic trip.
