Select the "Round-Trip" or the "One-Way" button.
Type in your originating city in the "From" box and your destination city in the "To" box.
Select the date(s) and time(s) you want to travel.
Click the "Search" button.
Print this page or record the information you need by hand.
Locate the train schedule board. Most are wall-mounted poster boards, but more modern train stations will have digital timetable boards.
Be aware that arrival timetables have a white background; departures are in yellow.
Determine if you want a regular or fast train schedule. Fast trains are in red lettering; regular are in black.
Record the time information to reference during your trips. Timetables will be listed in order by time, from 0:00 to 24:00, and will have departure, arrival and platform numbers. The number and/or name of many major stops may also be listed.
