"No owner or person in charge of any dog shall permit such dog to continue barking or making other noises disturbing the peace and quiet of any neighborhood for more than a total five minute duration within a thirty minute time period. For purposes of this section, a "neighborhood" shall be deemed to mean a contiguous block containing twenty or more single family residential houses."
In other words, a dog may only bark for a total of five minutes within a thirty minute time period in a neighborhood in Cobb County. If a dog barks for longer than five minutes in a thirty minute time period, the owner or person in charge of the dog may be cited for a violation of the noise ordinance.
