Triton Trailer Specifications

Triton trailers are aluminum haulage vehicles, designed to tow heavy goods on the back of a motorized vehicle. They are manufactured by the Triton Corporation, which has also produced burning furnaces, boatlifts and piers. Although there are different types of Triton trailer, including models for snowmobiles, personal watercraft and car haulers, all trailer specifications are fairly consistent. Key specifications include carrying capacity, hauling height and loading height.
  1. Carrying Capacity

    • The carrying capacity is the recommended weight the Triton trailer can handle at one time. This capacity relates to the maximum weight of the equipment which is being transported and is measured in pounds.

    Hauling Height

    • The hauling height is the recommended maximum height of all items when they are being towed. This height is measured from the floor to the top of the product being towed, and is included in order to avoid any dangerously tall loads.

    Loading Height

    • The loading height is the height at which the trailer stands when it is being loaded. This specification is important to determine the height of a suitable loading ramp or loading dock.
