The Trojan Horse Lodge is a century-old carriage barn in the scenic town of Ludlow, Vermont, just one mile from the base lodge of Okemo Mountain. Located about 25 miles outside Ludlow, the Dostal isn't the closest place to lay your head if you're visiting Okemo, but if you're looking for the atmosphere usually associated with youth hostels, this is your best choice in the area. While the Dostal hotel next door is more family friendly, the Dostal Hostel caters to students and budget international travelers. The bar area offers food--primarily variations of burgers and pizza--which rank high with the young traveling set.

Located a few miles outside Ludlow, the inn is a step up from the usual youth hostel ruckus but still provides several entertainment options for hikers, cyclists and skiers.
