How big is the Cotswolds?
The Cotswolds is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in west central England. It covers parts of six counties: Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Wiltshire, Somerset and Worcestershire. The area is bounded by the River Severn to the west and the Thames Valley to the east, and spans approximately 1,200 square kilometres (463 square miles).
