There are many hotels in downtown Annapolis. The Loews Annapolis Hotel is in downtown Annapolis, close to the historic shops, State Capitol and waterfront. The hotel has a restaurant and sports bar, spa and penthouse suites with sweeping views of Annapolis' historic buildings.

From the camp visitors can easily reach both Baltimore for a visit to the Inner Harbor area or Baltimore Aquarium, and Washington, DC, to see the nation's government buildings and memorials. Baltimore is18 miles from the campgrounds and Washington,DC is just 30 miles away. The camp itself has facilities such as basketball courts, horseshoe pits, swimming pool and nature trails.
There are many motels just outside of Annapolis for those desiring parking and easy access to the area highways. The Comfort Inn and Super 8 Annapolis are off of US Route 301, which leads visitors east to Sandy Point State Park, where they can enjoy crabbing, boating and swimming, and west to shopping at the Annapolis Towne Center and Annapolis Harbour Center, which features an Amish market. The motels are only five miles from the sights in downtown Annapolis and 18 miles from Gibson Island.
