There are many motels just outside of Annapolis for those desiring parking and easy access to the area highways. The Comfort Inn and Super 8 Annapolis are off of US Route 301, which leads visitors east to Sandy Point State Park, where they can enjoy crabbing, boating and swimming, and west to shopping at the Annapolis Towne Center and Annapolis Harbour Center, which features an Amish market. The motels are only five miles from the sights in downtown Annapolis and 18 miles from Gibson Island.
