The Ship Harbor Inn saves you money on ferry tolls; you can leave your car at the inn for free and pay the lower walk-on rate. Most rooms have french doors or sliding glass doors to an exterior balcony or patio, so your dog can see, hear and smell the outdoors from your room. As of February 2011, a standard queen room with a private patio costs $79 per night, and a one-room cottage with a kitchen costs $109 per night. Dogs cost $25 per night per dog, and there is no charge for children under 11.
