Viva Wyndham Resorts

Viva Wyndham offers seven all-inclusive resorts located in Mexico, Dominican Republic and Bahamas. The resorts include at no extra charge an array of unlimited dining opportunities for all three meals, drinks, cocktail parties and activities that include casino night, beach-side service, spas, fresh water pools and ocean sports. Viva Windham resorts feature a host of supervised activities for kids. Kids under age three are free and older kids stay and eat for a low daily fee.
  1. Dominican Republic Resorts

    • Viva Wyndham has four unique resorts in the Dominican Republic. If you are interested in elegant luxury along white, sandy beaches, La Romano Dominicus Palace's 330 resort is worthy of your attention. Dine at one of the five resorts restaurants or adjacent beach restaurants, enjoy snorkeling or scuba diving at the world renown pristine Isla Catalina. The enchantment of island living at the Dominicus Beach resort features 500 rooms, wind surfing, canoe rides, snorkeling, five restaurants, music, turquoise waters, swimming pools and cocktails. Tropical breezes await you at the Tangerine resort on the northeast coast featuring 220 rooms with white, sandy beaches, beach-front pool, surfing and windsurfing, coral reefs and a range of food and drinks. As of February, 2011, the Playa Dorado resort located on the north coast with an 18-hole golf course, horseback riding, swimming pools and white sandy beaches is closed for renovations until further notice.

    Bahamas Resort

    • Viva Wyndham's Fortuna Beach resort is located on Grand Bahama Island featuring 1,200 feet of secluded private beach and 26 acres of tropical plants, three on-site restaurants, three bars including a beach bar,ocean view pool, water sport activities, nightly entertainment and local excursions. The all-inclusive package provides unlimited drinks, three meals per day, snacks, entertainment, beach towels and a range of rooms with ocean or garden views.

    Mexico Resorts

    • Viva Wyndham offers two all-inclusive resorts located in the Yucatan region in Mexico. The Maya resort is adjacent to the Mayan Reef noted for spectacular scuba and snorkeling opportunities. The resort features seven restaurants, nightly entertainment and unlimited refreshments. Guests can choose among 400 rooms with garden or ocean views and expansive white sandy beaches. All non-motorized sports equipment is included. The Playa Azteca resort is located on the east coast of the Yucatan Peninsula in the quaint village of Playa del Carmen about 42 miles from the Cancun airport. If you are looking for dazzling private beaches, fishing, water sports, golf, swimming pools, papaya pool bar, four restaurants and golden sunsets, this is a resort you will enjoy. As with other Viva Wyndham locations, Azteca resort welcomes families. Guests can take daily excursions to ancient Mayan sites, stroll and shop in Playa del Carmen and top it off with a visit to the spa.

    Travel Tips

    • U.S. visitors to Viva Wyndham resorts require a passport. During the off-season June 1 to August 29 rates are lower and children ages 12 and under stay and eat free. As of February, 2011 winter and spring rates range from $220 to $420 per day for an all-inclusive resort package. Children age three to twelve stay and eat for $30 per day.
