The Bedford Post Inn is a self-described "luxury" inn with eight rooms, a yoga studio and two restaurants. The town of Bedford is located about five minutes away from Pound Ridge. The complex is meant mostly for big events, such as weddings, and the rooms are spacious and well-furnished. Located 10 minutes away over the Connecticut border, the Roger Sherman Inn claims to be "one of the oldest historical landmarks in Connecticut." The original structure dates to the 1700s and was home for over 20 years to the famous Connecticut Revolutionary War figure of whom it was named after. The rooms run from standard to a two-bedroom suite, and some of the amenities include wireless Internet access, cable television and a minibar. Complimentary breakfast is included, and the inn also houses a fine dining restaurant.
Located about 10 to 15 minutes from Pound Ridge, the Elms Inn was first constructed in 1799 along Main Street in Ridgefield, Connecticut. Although the inn is small, the rooms include all conventional hotel amenities and then some, including television and wireless Internet access.
