Local attractions include the Molokai Ranch, which is 53,000 acres of nature. Horseback riding, mountain biking, sport fishing and snorkeling are a few activities that can be done near Castle Kaluakoi Villas. The Big Wind Kite Factory is minutes away, and it features hundreds of handmade, unique kites.
The Aqua Hotel Molokai is located 8.1 miles from Ho'olehua on Kamiloloa Beach. This 53-room resort is styled after a Polynesian village, and it has a host of amenities and services that include: a freshwater pool, overlooking the Pacific Ocean; hammocks scattered across the resort for lounging; a spa; and a restaurant/bar. Guests have the option of booking a garden view or an ocean view room. Accommodations vary depending on the type of room you choose. Some rooms come equipped with kitchenettes. All units come equipped with a washer and dryer, a living room, a dining room and a fully-equipped kitchen. This 1880's-styled resort is located approximately 10 miles from Ho'olehua and features two swimming pools, two hot tubs, a fitness center and six barbecue stations. Daily classes and activities are offered for kids and adults to teach island-inspired crafts, like making Hawaiian leis, learning how to play the ukulele and hula dance.
