Situated near the East Branch Iowa River, Klemme is a small city located in northern Iowa in Hancock County approximately 115 miles north of Des Moines. As of the 2008 census estimate, the population of Klemme is approximately 750. While the city does not offer any lodging accommodations within the city limits, several motel-style accommodations are available in the surrounding area.
