Kapps Mill is an unincorporated community in a northern rural part of North Carolina, approximately 15 miles from the Virginia state line. Outdoor activities in the area include fishing, hunting and biking. Kapps Mill is bordered to the west by the Stone Mountain State Park. This area of the state is also known for its vineyards and the town of Mount Airy.
