Hotels in Brookeland, Texas

Brookeland is located on the shores of Lake Sam Rayburn in eastern Texas near the Louisiana border. There are only a few small independent motels in Brookeland and its environs, but there are plenty of hotels to choose from in the town of Jasper, Texas about 16.5 miles to the south along route 96.

    • The Bass Buster Inn is a fisherman's inn in Brookeland which occupies a two-story building with external hallways located near the Umphrey Pavilion Boat Ramp about 3/4 miles away. Everything about the inn is geared to the outdoorsman from the extra long parking spaces for cars with trailers or oversize RVs with electric outlets for boat battery recharging to the available fishing guide service. If you are not the fishing type you can try the nearby hiking trails located throughout Angelina National Forest. The inn's guest rooms are painted all white with blue carpeting and trim and feature SAT TV, free Wi-Fi Internet and two queen-size beds. Pets are allowed after pest inspection at a per night fee.     Super 8 Hotel, Jasper

    • The Super 8 Hotel in Jasper, Texas is located about 15.7 miles south of Brookeland in a light colored two-floor building with external hallways and staircases. The hotel markets itself as an ideal choice for fisherman heading out onto Lake Sam Rayburn or outdoor types interested in hiking, biking, canoeing, bird-watching and hunting.     • The Belle-Jim Hotel is located in Jasper, Texas about 17.1 miles south of Brookeland. The bed-and-breakfast hotel and restaurant occupies a 1910 wood frame building reminiscent of a large home with front porch, and second story balcony. The hotel markets itself as an old time inn and a window into the past highlighting its "country state of mind." The hotel restaurant is spread throughout a few rooms with raw wood tables and chairs like a rural dining room where gourmet lunches are served. There are only seven guest rooms at the Belle-Jim and each has its own unique layout, period furnishings and country-style decor with central air conditioning and private bathroom.
