Paradise, La., is located in the center of the state, a small community in the northern suburbs of Alexandria. The town is situated on Highway 71, off of Interstate 49. Paradise is in close proximity to the Kisatchie National Forest, Camp Beauregard military training base and Oakwing Golf Course. The Kent Plantation House showcases antiques from 1850. The Paradise area is served by the Alexandria International Airport, and is home to workers at Dresser Inc. and a Proctor & Gamble plant.
