Boutique Hotels Near Pond Eddy, New York

The most famous landmark in Pond Eddy is the Pond Eddy bridge, which crosses the river Delaware between New York State and Pennsylvania. The area is scenic, with forests and rivers for visitors to enjoy. To accommodate travelers, several small boutique hotels have sprung up in the area.

  1. Hotel Fauchere, Milton

    • There is very little in Pond Eddy itself, and the nearest boutique hotel is about eight miles away, in the town of Milford. The Hotel Fauchere claims to offer guests, a "home away from home" experience. The 16 guest rooms are luxurious, and feature hardwood flooring and all the usual amenities for a hotel of this caliber. The hotel is proud of its restaurant, The Delmonico Room, which serves high-quality cuisine at lunch and diner. The hotel has a separate conference and business center on site and, when not working, guests can go cycling or fishing nearby.

    Catlin Gardens

    • The next nearest boutique option for those who visit Pond Eddy is the Catlin Gardens Inn, situated in Slate Hill, off Route 84. Catlin Gardens markets itself as a wedding venue as well as a top-notch boutique inn. Located in an old manor house, the Inn is comprised of 40 rooms, all tastefully and newly decorated. A fitness facility is within the grounds of the hotel, as well as a pub and restaurant with a terrace and a private dining facility. The Hotel is set in 12 acres of award-winning gardens.

    Glenmere Mansion

    • Glenmere Mansion, a 40-minute drive from Pond Eddy, is a Luxury Hotel offering 18 guest accommodations. The rooms and suites are large and very comfortably furnished; many of the rooms also have working fireplaces. There are several options for dining, including a Tuscan-themed restaurant, and a small bar area, where snacks and light meals are served. Local activities and sightseeing opportunities include two art museums and many outdoor pursuits, such as golf and horse-riding. The hotel is also not far from West Point Military Academy.

    Other Options

    • Additional options are available to the discerning traveller, but all involve traveling farther from Pond Eddy. The town of Port Jervis contains some well-known chain motels and hotels, but these could not be classed in the boutique category. A Day's Inn and a Best Western can both be found in Port Jervis, and offer all the usual amenities, without offering the high-end service and comfort of a boutique hotel.
