Hotels and Accommodations in Circleville, Ohio

Circleville, Ohio, established in 1810 in Pickaway County, was named after the original town design. With the courthouse in the center, the rest of the town radiated out in a circular form. That came to an end in the 1830s when the Circleville Squaring Company set about creating a more grid-like town design. If you're visiting Circleville, there are a number of accommodation options. Some lean toward budget and motel settings, but there are other choices, including state park camping.

  1. A.W. Marion State Park

    • The state park features 29 electric and 29 non-electric enabled camping sites, as well as youth group camp facilities. Effective April 1, 2010 to March 31, 2011, the camp sites rented for $18 for non-electric sites, $22 for electric sites and $40 for group camping. The rates are due to go up by $2 each on April 1, 2011. The camp grounds are closed from November 1 to April 1. The state park encourages reservations, but will take walk-ins based on site availability.

    • This bed and breakfast, built in 1895, offers a variety of decor option for guest rooms, from Victorian and Medieval honeymoon suites to the square tower and round tower rooms. The inn features a murder mystery game night on the last Friday of each month. Guests receive a home-cooked breakfast in the morning. There also are specialty dinner options available.
