Middlebury is a small farming and agricultural community located in northern Indiana, just south of the Indiana/Michigan state line, otherwise known as "Amish Country". It is an ideal small town with a population of about 2,900 and most businesses thriving on Main Street. Amish people are prevalent in the area and many come to Middlebury to do business. The Patchwork Quilt Country Inn is a bed and breakfast located in northern Middlebury, a 10 to 15 minute drive north on Main Street, just off the I-80/I-90 toll road, Exit 107 for Middlebury. The inn has nine guestrooms, each themed around a homemade Amish quilt. Every room has its own climate control, TV with DVD player, wireless Internet and private bath, some with jacuzzi tub. The inn has a recreation room, fitness facility with Bowflex equipment, guest gathering areas with plasma TVs and a DVD library, and old fashioned fireplaces, a telescope, guest computer and a sunken hot tub on the rear deck. It is also handicap accessible. The entire inn is non-smoking and a 50 percent deposit is due upon reservation.
